Kentucky Offers Darius Miller a Scholarship

The University of Kentucky has offered a basketball scholarship to Mason County junior Darius Miller. Mason County coach Chris O'Hearn says U.K. made the offer last week. Miller, a 6-6 guard-forward averaged nearly 16 points and 6 rebounds last season. He joined the Royals football team at pre-season practice Monday after a busy summer of basketball. Miller played on the D1 Greyhounds team that won the 17 and under AAU Boys Basketball National Tournament last week at Disney World. He also played with the D1 Greyhounds in the Reebok ABCD Camp in New Jersey and the Reebok Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas. Miller's teammates included superstars O.J. Mayo and Bill Walker.
