Tournament time for high school baseball and softball

It's postseason tournament time for high school baseball and softball tournaments in Kentucky.

The 39th District baseball tournament will be played on Monday at Bracken County. The 39th District softball tournament is scheduled on Tuesday at the Tom Browning Boys and Girls Club.

Here are the schedules:

Baseball

5:30 p.m. Monday: Bracken County vs. Augusta

7:30 p.m. Monday: Championship game, Mason County vs. the winner of the Bracken County vs. Augusta game

Softball

5:30 p.m. Tuesday: Mason County vs. Augusta

7:30 p.m. Tuesday: Championship game, Bracken County vs. the winner of the Mason County vs. Augusta game

Admission at each tournament is $7.
