Lex Turner back coaching the St. Patrick Saints

Twenty years after stepping down as the St. Patrick boys' basketball coach, Lex Turner is back on the Saints' bench.

Turner and Chris Bauer have taken over the interim coaching duties in the absence of Tony Moore who is sidelined by a health issue.

Daniel Sammons was the interim coach for the first five games of the season.

Turner was the Saints' head coach for twenty-eight seasons. His teams won 365 games, two district championships and two All "A" 10th Region championships.

Turner coached both the Saints and the Lady Saints during the 1987-88 season.

Bauer has coached at St. Patrick at various levels for many seasons.

Turner and Bauer were the guests on WFTM's SportsTalk show on Friday morning. Here a link to the podcast of the show.
