High school hoops resume on Friday

After a brief break for Christmas, local high school basketball teams return to action on Friday.

The Mason County Lady Royals will play their first game in the renovated Lady Royals Gym downtown when they host the Campbell County Lady Camels. The junior varsity game will tip off at noon followed by the varsity at 1:30 p.m.

The St. Patrick Lady Saints and Saints both play Ripley in the Ripley Holiday Classic. The girls' game is at 5 p.m. followed by the boys' game at 6:30 p.m. The third place and champtionship games are on Saturday.

The Mason County Royals will play the Adair County Indians at 7:30 p.m. in the third game of the Mason County Invitational Tournament.
