Teegin Routt passed for 205 yards and four touchdowns in the first quarter and the Mason County Royals routed the Rowan County Vikings 40-16 on Friday night at Mason County.
Routt finished with 263 yards, all in the first half. He threw three touchdown passes to Cole Horch and one to Garryon McClain.
McClain and Joey Staggs each rushed for a touchdown.
The Royals led 33-0 at the end of the first quarter and 40-7 at halftime.
Mason County heads into its bye week with a 4-1 record. The Royals will host the Holmes Bulldogs on Homecoming on October 4.
