De'Sarae Chambers Perry named grand marshal of the Mason County Schools' Homecoming Parade

Former Mason County basketball and track star De'Sarae Chambers Perry has been named grand marshal of the Mason County Schools' 2024 Homecoming Parade scheduled on October 3.

Perry is Mason County's all-time leading scorer (girls and boys) with 2,967 career points and holds the school record for the triple jump (35' 2.25"). Perry played college basketball at the University of Dayton.

Perry is the Director of Workforce Solutions at Maysville Community and Technical College.

The parade begins at 6 p.m. at the corner of East Second Street and Main Street, travels westbound on East Second and ends at the Mason County Health Department parking lot. Line up begins at 5:15 p.m.

Students from through out the Mason County School system will participate in the parade.

The Mason County Royals will host the Holmes Bulldogs on Homecoming on October 4.
