The Mason County Royals will face the Bourbon County Colonels on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the opening game of the 10th Region Tournament at The Fieldhouse.
Mason County is 20-11 and has won five of its last six games. The Royals had lopsided wins over Augusta and Bracken County in the 39th District Tournament.
Bourbon County, the runner-up in the 40th District Tournament, is 13-15. The Colonels won four of their last five regular season games then beat crosstown rival Paris 59-53 in the district semifinals before losing to George Rogers Clark 73-48 in the district championship game.
Mason County beat Bourbon County 68-46 on January 30 at The Fieldhouse.
The second game on Wednesday night pits Harrison County vs. Scott.
