The Mason County Lady Royals are champions of the Laura Hall Classic

The Mason County Lady Royals won the Laural Hall Classic on Saturday at Dayton High School.

Lexi Young had 19 points, Amirah Reed followed with 17 points and Olivia Hughes added 12 points in a 66-34 victory over Villa Madonna in the semifinal game in the afternoon.

Reed and Hughes both scored 20 points and Young added 12 in a 62-23 rout of Dayton in the championship game on Saturday night.

Young was named Player of the Game in the win over Villa Madonna. Hughes was the Player of the Game in the championship contest and Reed was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Mason County (18-10) will close out the regular season on Monday night at home vs. Lewis County.
