Emma Gallenstein scored a career-high 20 points and Lillian Klee added 15 points, but the St. Patrick Lady Saints lost to the Newport Ladycats 50-40 Saturday afternoon in Newport.
Newport (2-4) led 14-6 at the end of the first quarter and 25-12 at halftime.
St. Patrick (1-4) will host the Robertson County Lady Devils on Thursday night.
