Mason County sophomore Jake Feldhaus shot a 1-over par 73 Friday and is tied for seventh place after the opening round of the 2023 Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA Golf State Championships at Bowling Green Country Club.
Feldhaus is eight shots off the lead. He has a 9:20 a.m. tee time Saturday for the final round.
