The Mason County Lady Royals lost to the Estill County Lady Engineers 6-1 in the championship game of the Kentucky 2A Championships Section 6 soccer tournament at Estill County Thursday night.
Sarah Payne scored the Lady Royals' goal, her team-leading sixth goal of the season.
Mason County (2-3-1) will be back in action Wednesday at home vs. Dayton.
