The semifinals of the championship flight of the 88th Chippeways golf tournament at Maysville Country Club Sunday morning will pit father against son and two recent champions against each other.
Six-time champion Eric Schumacher will play his son, Evan, while defending champion Logan Liles plays 2021 champion Corey Richmond in the 8:15 am matches. The winners will meet in the championship match Sunday afternoon.
In today's quarterfinal round matches, Eric Schumacher defeated Jake O'Mara, Evan Schumacher beat Evan Beery, Richmond defeated Kevin Lawson, and Liles beat Ayden Gillilan.
