The rain stayed away for most of the day and all first round matches in the 88th Chippeways match play golf tournament were completed today at Maysville Country Club.
In the championship flight, defending champion Logan Liles defeated Jon Hoh, Ayden Gillilan beat Bill O'Mara, Kevin Lawson was a winner over Tanner Walton, Corey Richmond topped Drew Holbrook, Jake O'Mara defeated Grant Owens, Eric Schumacher advanced with a win over Josh Weber, Evan Schumacher beat Lane Rogers, and Evan Beery defeated Drew Traxel.
