The Mason County Lady Royals defeated Holy Cross 15-2 in five innings and Calvary Christian 11-1 in five innings in the Keith Carver Classic Saturday to run their winning streak to three games.
The Lady Royals only had four hits in the win over Holy Cross, but they drew 12 walks and stole eight bases in eight attempts. Eight different players drove in at least one run.
Olivia Hughes pitched a three-hitter striking out six and walking two.
Kenzie Gulley went 3-for-3 with two triples and three RBI in the win over Calvary Christian.
Marcella Gifford also had three RBI.
Delana Riggs tossed a five-hitter strking out five and walking three.
Mason County (13-12) will host the Bath County Lady Wildcats today at 6 p.m.
