Mason County sophomore Bryce Pollitt took first place in the male bullseye high school division at the Kentucky NASP State Tournament at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville on Saturday.
Pollitt shot 295 with 25 Tens.
Mason County seventh grader Cady Salazar finished third in the girls' middle school 3D division. She shot 286 with 18 Tens.
It's the first time in program history that Mason County archers have won individual awards at the state NASP Tournament.
Mason County High School was 28th out of 55 teams in the IBO/3d Challenge and 70th out of 149 teams in the Land-Based Tournament.
The high school teams will advance to the national tournament in May.
