Royals rout Johnson Central 86-46 for 10th straight win

For the second time in less than 24 hours, the Mason County Royals used the same winning formula  lights-out shooting, balanced scoring and good defense  for a blowout victory.

On Saturday it was an 86-46 win over the Johnson Central Eagles in the Lake Kelly Classic at Fleming County. It was the Royals' 10th straight victory and their 20th win of the season.

Mason County shot 59.3 percent from the field and for the second straight game made 10-of-20 3-point shots.

The Royals had 22 assists, 18 points off turnovers and outrebounded the Eagles 34-26. 

Riley Mastin scored a game-high 19 points, Terrell Henry followed with 18, Philip Bierley tossed in 15, Braylon Hamilton made 4-of-5 3-point shots and added 14 points. KG Walton had 10 assists.

Mason County (20-2) will host the Morgan County Cougars on Tuesday night.
