The Mason County Royals scored the first 20 points of the game and cruised to a 72-33 win over the Bourbon County Colonels tonight at Bourbon County.
The Royals led 24-2 at the end of the first quarter and 50-13 at the half. Their biggest lead was 46 points at 61-15 in the third quarter.
Philip Bierley scored a game-high 19 points. Riley Mastin tossed in 15 points.
Mason County (3-0) will host the Fleming County Panthers Saturday night in the Mike Murphy Classic.
