The Mason County Lady Royals outscored the Fleming County Lady Panthers 24-12 in the second quarter on their way to a season-opening 53-42 victory tonight at the Lady Royals Gym.
Three Lady Royals scored in double figures. Sedaya Thomas led with 12 points, while Avery Sims followed with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Lexi Young tossed in 10 points.
Fleming County sophomore Ariana Adams scored a game-high 25 points.
