Mason County senior Grant Owens won the Region 12 individual championship and led the Royals to their third straight region championship today at Hidden Cove Golf Course.
Owens shot a 2-under 70 and won the individual championship in a two-hole sudden playoff.
The Royals completed the three-peat by shooting a 297 for a 20-shot victory.
Jake Feldhaus shot an even par 72. Trey Cracraft shot a 77 and Noah Gardner and Quin Grooms each shot a 78.
Mason County and Russell, the runner-up, both advance to the first round of the state at Winchester Country Club.
