The Kentucky High School Athletic Association has released the first Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) rankings for the 2022 season and the Mason County Royals are No. 3 in Class 3A.
Mason County's RPI is .78545. Bardstown is No. 1 (.84134) and Trigg County is No. 2 (.79561).
The Bracken County Polars are No. 2 in Class 1A (.77155).
The RPI is used to determine home field advantage in the third and fourth rounds of the playoffs.
