10th Region Girls Basketball Coaches Association award winners

Montgomery County freshman guard Hayden Barrier and George Rogers Clark junior forward Brianna Byars have been named 10th Region Girls' Co-Players of the Year by the 10th Region Girls Basketball Coaches Association. Aaron Speaks of Paris is the association's Region Coach of the Year.

Barrier is averaging 17.7 points and 4.7 rebounds a game. Byars is averaging 15.8 points and 5.2 rebounds a game.

Speaks has guided the Paris Lady Hounds to a 16-9 record so far this season. Paris won the 10th Region All "A" Classic last month.
