The first Kentucky High School Athletic Association Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) for the 2021 high school football season was released today.
RPI is calculated from the team's winning percentage, the opponent's winning percentage and the opponent's opponent's winning percentage.
RPI is used to determine the pairings in the third and fourth rounds of the playoffs.
The Mason County Royals are ranked 21st in the Class AAA RPI. The Royals are No.1 in District 6. Fleming County is No. 2 followed by Powell County, Lewis County and Pendleton County.
