Six-time champion Eric Schumacher and three-time champion Jackson Frame were among the winners of 1st round matches in the 86th Chippeways at Maysville County Club on Friday.
Schumacher defeated Chris Vinning. Frame was a winner over Josh Weber.
Three-time champion Drew Traxel lost to Drew Werline.
Last year’s runner-up, Corey Richmond advanced with a victory over Travis Rogers.
