KC's Joe Donovan Memorial River Run returns on the Fourth of July

After a year's absence because of the pandemic, the Joe Donovan Memorial River Run sponsored by the Knights of Columbus returns to downtown Maysville on the Fourth of July.

The event features a 5K run and 2-mile walk. Check in begins at 6:30 a.m. The race starts at 8 a.m.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 male and female participants overall in the 5K run and top 2 male and female walkers. Medals will go to the top 3 male and female participants of each division in the 5K run, top 3 in the wheelchair division, and top 3 Big Man participants.   

The cost of the race is $20.  Make checks payable to Knights of Columbus.  Mail checks to:  City of Maysville, Attn:  Matt Wallingford, 216 Bridge Street, Maysville, KY  41056 or drop them off at the Maysville Municipal Building at 216 Bridge Street.  Pre-registration ends July 1 at 12:00 p.m.
