The Mason County Royals broke open a close game by ending the first half on a 14-0 run on their way to a 75-58 victory over the Scott Eagles in a quarterfinal round game of the 10th Region Tournament tonight at The Fieldhouse.
Mason County shot 51% for the game and led by as many as 26 points in the fourth quarter.
Terrell Henry poured in 28 points for the Royals who ran their winning streak to 14 games. Nate Mitchell scored 18 points.
KABC 10th Region Player of the Year Grant Profitt led Scott in scoring with 19 points.
Mason County will play George Rogers Clark in the semifinals Friday at 8 p.m.
