Kentucky high school basketball teams are allowed to begin official practice today.
October 15 is the normal start date, but the first day of practice for the 2020-21 season was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first game of the season can be held on November 23.
There is a limit of 30 games per team during the regular season.
Teams cannot play more than three games in a given week unless it's for a tournament. In that case, the preceding or succeeding weeks must be adjusted to create an appropriate average number of games per week.
