Mason County Royals golf team will play in the KGCA All-State Championship this weekend

 The Mason County Royals, tied for No. 2 in the All-State Standings, will play in the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association All-State Championship Saturday and Sunday at University Club of Kentucky in Lexington. 

Only teams in the Top 15 are eligible to participate in the 36-hole tournament.

Mason County has 495 all-state points and is tied with Trinity and St. Henry.

Highlands is No. 1 with 525 points.

Here are the first round team times for the Royals:

Zach Ring 11:18 a.m.

Kaden Grooms 11:33 a.m.

Evan Schumacher 11:48 a.m.

Logan Shepherd 12:03 p.m.

Mason Butler 12:18 p.m.
