Royals add a game vs. Frankfort, reschedule game vs. Harrison County and cancel game vs. Lloyd Memorial

The revised schedule for the Mason County Royals football team adds a road game against Frankfort, a Senior Night home game against Harrison County, eliminates a home game vs. Lloyd Memorial and changes the date for the team's bye week.

The KHSAA's decision to delay the start of the season to September 11 wiped out the first three games on the Royals' original schedule: road games at Russell and Harrison County, and an Appalachian Bowl game at Clay County against Perry Country Central.

The game at Frankfort will take place on October 2 which was a bye week or open date on the original schedule.

The Senior Night game vs. Harrison County is set for November 6 which is the date the KHSAA added to the regular season.

The September 18 home game against Lloyd Memorial is cancelled because the school, located in Erlanger, has to play all of its games in Northern Kentucky during the pandemic. September 18 will be an open date or bye week for Mason County.

Here is the complete revised schedule for the Royals:

Sept. 11 Grant County Home (Meadowview Regional Medical Center Kick-Off Classic)

Sept. 18 Open

Sept. 25 Pendleton County Home (US Bank Football Classic and Homecoming)

Oct. 2 Frankfort Away

Oct. 9 Fleming County Away

Oct. 16 Lewis County Home (Pink Out)

Oct. 23 Powell County Away

Oct. 30 Greenup County Away

Nov. 6 Harrison County Home (Senior Night)
