The 2020 Two-Bridge Run, sponsored by the Maysville Rotary Club, has been cancelled, but the COVID-19 plan for the Limestone Cycling Tour is still scheduled to take place.
The Two-Bridge Run, which includes a 10-miler and 5K Run/Walk, was originally scheduled for April 22, but was postponed until September 5 due to the closure of the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge for repair work. The bridge has reopened, but the Rotary Club's Board of Directors voted Tuesday to cancel this year's races because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
All paid entries will be rolled forward and applied to the 2021 event.
Health departments and local officials have approved the COVID-19 plan for the Limestone Cycling Tour. The Limestone Cycling Tour is a 2020 Century Challenge Ride scheduled September 12.
