Here are some news and notes:

• The Mason County Royals football team will travel to Mercer County Thursday morning for Organized Team Activities with the Mercer County Titans, the Danville Admirals and the Collins Titans.

• The Bryan Conway Junior Memorial Golf Tournament scheduled today has been postponed and rescheduled for Monday, July 22 at Kenton Station Golf Course. The tournament, sponsored by Schumacher Insurance Agency, is open to boys and girls age 9 to 16. Call 759-7154 to sign up.

• Tryouts for the Mason County High School girls golf team will be held July 24 at 4:30 p.m. at Laurel Oaks Golf Course. Girls in grades 7 through 12 are eligible to tryout. You must have an updated physical.
