Four tied at 11-under 59 after the first round of the Firecracker

Logan McIntosh, B.J. Knox, Nick Boggess and Corey Richmond share the lead in the 52nd Firecracker tournament at Kenton Station Golf Course after firing 11-under 59s in the first round today.

Knox fired an eight-under 27 on the front nine. McIntosh and Boggess had 29s on the front side and Richmond shot a 29 on the back nine.

Tyler Lippert is three shots behind the leaders after shooting a 62.

Four-time defending champion Deron Feldhaus is seven shots off the lead at four-under 66.

Five other golfers- Seth Tracey, Mark Moore, Shawn Armstrong, Johnny Evans and Troy Grooms- also shot 66s.

Matt Malott, Matt Logan, Eric Schmacher and Ryan Hines shot 67s.

Bryan Walton, Josh Stafford, Chandler Clark, Jesse McHugh, Rick Harmon and Don Pollard shot 68s.

The final round is Sunday.
