Conrad and White advance to region SF, qualfiy for state

Mallory Conrad and Haley White advanced to the semifinals of the 10th Region girls double tennis tournament and qualified for the state tournament for the third straight year with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Campbell County in the quarterfinals Monday at Campbell County.

Conrad and White will play their semifinal match Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Kierstan Coleman and Autumn Benedict of Mason County lost their quarterfinal round match 1-6, 0-6.

In boys doubles. Evan Kalb and Logan Kalb of St. Patrick lost 2-6, 4-6, and Gavin Gilbert and Josh Coleman of Mason County lost 1-6, 6-4, 7-10.

In boys singles, Nate Campbell of Mason County lost 2-6, 1-6.

In girls singles, Katie Swisshelm of Mason County lost 2-6, 1-6.
