Hundreds expected for Limestone Cycling Tour

Between 400 and 500 cyclists are expected to participate in the 10th Annual Limestone Cycling Tour in Maysville Saturday.

The tour begins and ends at Limestone Park in downtown Maysville. Cyclists will begin the ride between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. 

There are four supported routes- a 25-mile loop, a 40-mile loop, a 62-mile Metric Century and a 100-mile Century.

This is the first year that the Limestone Cycling Tour is included in the Kentucky Century Challenge and Kentucky Cycling Challenge.

The northbound lane of the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge will be closed to motorists from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Post race festivities are scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m. at Limestone Park and will include vendors, a food truck, live music and the awards ceremony.
