Lippert advances to semifinals of the KGA Match Play Championship

Mason County alum Tyler Lippert won two matches today and advanced to the semifinals of the Kentucky Golf Association Match Play Championship at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond.

Lippert defeated Cooper Collins 1-up in the second round this morning, then, beat Kevin Waldie 3 and 1 in the quarterfinals this afternoon.

Lippert, a rising junior at Eastern Kentucky University, will play Rob Crockett of Louisville in the lower bracket semifinal match Thursday morning.
