Lady Royals' winning streak snapped by loss to Simon Kenton

The Mason County Lady Royals' season-high five-game winning streak was snapped by a 63-50 loss to the Simon Kenton Lady Pioneers this afternoon at The Fieldhouse.

Mason County led 14-11 at the end of the first quarter, but was outscored 21-9 in the second quarter and 17-10 in the third quarter.

Simon Kenton's biggest lead was 18 points at 51-33 in the fourth quarter.

Three Lady Royals scored in double figures with Victoria Brooks leading the way with 13 points. She was 5-of-6 from the field.

AJ Reed and Kara Moran followed with 10 points apiece.

The Lady Royals travel to Paris Tuesday night to play the Bourbon County Lady Colonels.
