Mason Co. girls 10th, boys 22nd, Jefferson 3rd, Bracken Co, boys 7th at XC state championships

The Mason County Lady Royals finished in 10th place and the Mason County Royals took 22nd place in the Class AA cross country state championships Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Bracken County junior Jared Jefferson finished third in the Class A boys race in 16:35.92 and led the Polar Bears to a seventh place finish. 

Bracken County junior Brandon Cox took 13th place in 17:18.05

The Augusta boys were 33rd in Class A.

The Bracken County girls finished in 17th place in Class A.
