Mason County vs. Rowan County football game moved to Saturday

The Mason County vs. Rowan County football game originally scheduled Friday night has been moved to Saturday at 1 p.m. at Morehead State University's Jayne Stadium because of the threat of inclement weather Friday from the remnants of Hurricane Harvey.

The game is being played at MSU because the installation of artificial turf on the Rowan County football field is running behind schedule.

Numerous games throughout the state that were scheduled Friday night have been pushed up to tonight. That wasn't an option for the Mason County vs. Rowan County game because the Morehead State University Eagles play their home opener against Kentucky Christian University tonight.
