Blakefield shoots an even-par 72 in Freedom 55 Financial Open

Mark Blakefield made his debut on the Mackenzie Tour (PGA Tour Canada) by shooting an even-par 72 in the opening round of the Freedom 55 Financial Open Thursday in Vancouver, British Columbia.

There is a two-way tie for the lead at nine-under.

Blakefield, who is tied for 69th place, had three birdies and three bogeys. He hit 10 of 18 greens.

Blakefield is exempt for the first four events on the Mackenzie Tour after tying for ninth place at the USA #1 East Q-School in April.
