Paris beats Mason County for the first time since 1991

For the first time since 1991, Paris has a win over Mason County. 

The Greyhounds beat the Royals 71-60 tonight at the Fieldhouse.

Mason County had won 20 straight games against Paris.

Paris, the 10th Region All "A" Champion, outscored Mason County 28-14 in the first quarter and led by as many as 24 points in the third quarter.

The Greyhounds scored 21 points off the Royals' 21 turnovers.

Four Greyhounds scored in double figures with Jekobi Wells leading the way with 21 points.

Eric Johnson and Tayjin Cunningham both scored 13 points and Ryan Davis added 12 points.

Ty Fox had a double-double (18 points and 12 rebounds) for Mason County.

Leevi Dunaway scored 12 points and Sam Kumler tossed in 11 points.

Mason County hosts Rowan County Friday night.
