- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This week's game is the annual Think Pink Game. Mason County players who completed community service hours can wear pink.
- Shannon Roberts, FCCLA adviser at Mason County High School, is selling Think Pink shirts in her classroom. The shirts cost $15 each. Proceeds go to the Cancer Resource Center.
- Mason County has won two consecutive games for the first time since opening the 2014 season with six straight victories.
- This is Mason County's fourth straight home game.
- The Royals are 3-2 at home this season.
- Mason County will play the Ashland Tomcats in Ashland next week in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs.
- Conner is 7-2 with losses to Simon Kenton (39-27) and Ryle (42-28).
- The Cougars beat Cooper 18-7 last week. Cooper entered that game averaging 39 points a game.
- Conner quarterback Walker Buelow has passed for 1,413 yards and 14 touchdowns Conner tailback Armand Jackson has rushed for 1,006 yards and 16 touchdowns.
- The Cougars beat the Royals 49-12 in Hebron last season in the first meeting between the two schools.
