Mason County to Recognize Former Players at Home Games

The Mason County boys basketball program will recognize former players from the 1950s through the 1970s at home games in January and February beginning with the three schools that were consolidated in 1960 to form Mason County High School. Here is the schedule:

January 5 May's Lick Cardinals

January 8 Orangeburg Tigers

January 12 Minerva Maroons

January 15 Washington Pioneers, Lewisburg Bears and Sardis Dragons

January 22 Maysville Bulldogs and Fee Wildcats from the 1950s

February 2 Maysville Bulldogs from the 1960s and 1970s

February 9 Mason County Royals from the 1960s and 1970s

The former players need to sign in at a table in the lobby of the Fieldhouse. Players who sign in will be introduced at halftime of the varsity game.

Players from the 1980s and beyond will be recognized next season.

(Edited to change that three schools were consolidated to form Mason County High School, and to add Lewisburg and Sardis to January 15)
