Conner senior Isaiah Ebarb scored five touchdowns in the first half to lead the Cougars to a 49-12 victory over the Mason County Royals tonight in Hebron.
Ebarb had three touchdown receptions and returned a punt and a fumble for touchdowns. Conner scored 35 points in the second quarter and led 49-0 at the half.
Senior fullback Harvey Rice ran 50 yards for Mason County's first touchdown in the third quarter and freshman tailback Jaylen Lofton scored a touchdown on a 16-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Conner had 273 yards of total offense. Mason County had 224 total yards.
Conner quarterback Kyler Padgett completed 9 of 9 passes for 197 yards and four touchdowns.
Mason County ends the season with a 1-9 record. Conner is 7-3 and will play Campbell County in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs next week.
