Tyler Lippert Wins Kentucky Summer Classic

Tyler Lippert fired a 4-under 68 Friday at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond and won the boys' 15-18 division of the Kentucky Summer Classic on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour by five shots. Lippert had an eagle and three birdies after bogeying No. 1. He had a 36-hole total of 5-under 139. Nicholas Newton of Bowling Green and Cameron Clark of Louisville tied for second place at even par 144. Kodey Popplewell of Rogersville, Tennessee was fourth with a 1-over 145. With the win, Lippert receives an exemption into the 2015 National Championship December 5-6.
