"You guys have got her for a year, and then we get her for four, and I think the best basketball is ahead of her," Bramblett said. "The biggest thing for me is I've got a good person. In our league, it's very difficult just with us making the transition to NAIA, we've gotta bring in better players, but we've also gotta bring in leaders. And we've gotta bring in people that are going to get the job done for four years. I think that's what we've got with Keller."
Menke was glad to sign early so she can concentrate on her senior season.
"No one needs all the stress that rides from picking your college," Menke said. "It was awesome that she offered me so early."
Menke went from being the fourth leading scorer her sophmore year to the team leader and one of the best players in the region her junior year.
"That's a pretty good climb in a litte less than a year's time," Lady Royals Coach Stephen Butcher said. "Couldn't be happier with the way she's been as a leader, as the way she has showed all of us a little bit about how to play and take care of the basketball and those things, but the best thing about Keller is you're getting a total, total, total person."
Menke averaged 18.8 points and 9.2 rebounds a game last season. She was named First Team All 10th Region. Menke is 11th on the Lady Royals' all-time scoring list with 1,176 points.
