
The Mason County Royals host the Fleming County Panthers tonight in a district game on Senior Night. Mason County is looking to go 9-0 for the first time ever. The Royals are 3-0 in district games and can clinch their second consecutive district title. Fleming County is 5-3 overall and 2-1 in the district. In the latest Class 3A statistics, Mason County is second in passing (174 ypg) and Fleming County is tied for fourth in passing defense (58 ypg). Fleming County is ninth in rushing (223 ypg). Mason County is allowing 236 rushing yards a game. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. The tailgate party is from 5 to 7 p.m. The theme is Oktoberfest and the menu includes pork tenderloin or polish sausage and kraut, scalloped potatoes, brown beans, fried apples, dessert and drink.
