Chris Morris finished second in the Northern Kentucky Amateur at Lassing Pointe Golf Course in Union. Morris, the 2008 champion, had a two-round total of five-under par 137 today and lost to Jeremy Martin by one shot. Morris and Martin were co-medalists after shooting two-under 69 on the first day of the tournament on Monday. The tournament switched to match play on Tuesday and Wednesday. Morris beat No. 32 seed Doug Danner 2 and 1 on Tuesday. Morris defeated No. 17 seed Lance Lucas 2 up on Wednesday. It was back to medal play for the final two rounds today.
