If tonight's Chippeways Shootout at the Maysville Country Club is any indication, Friday's first round match between No. 1 seed Deron Feldhaus and No. 16 seed Wes Walton should be a dandy. Feldhaus and Walton played the par 3 13th hole five times without either golfer winning the hole. After the fifth time, they decided to split the money. Feldhaus and Walton were the last two standing after Robert Walton bogeyed No. 18. The shootout moved on to No. 13. Feldhaus and Wes Walton parred the hole the first time. But instead of having a putt-off, the gallery urged them to play it again. Feldhaus chipped in for birdie, and Walton answered by draining a long birdie putt. The next time, they both had a bogey. On the fourth try, Feldhaus hit his tee shot stiff, but missed the putt and they both made par. After pars on the fifth go at, they called it a night.
