Royals lose to Nicholas County

The Mason County Royals lost to the Nicholas County Bluejackets 10-7 in the opening round of the 10th Region Tournament in a game that ended at 12:22 this morning. The game didn't start until 9:50 Wednesday night because the first game between Scott and and Bourbon County was delayed by rain for almost two hours. Mason County led 4-1 after scoring four runs in the third inning, but the Bluejackets rallied to avenge an 11-10 regular season loss to the Royals. Mason County ends the season with a 10-15 record.
