White Station, coached by Jesus Patino, wins Class AAA state title in Tennessee

White Station High School of Memphis, coached by former Maysville resident Jesus Patino, won the Tennessee Class AAA boys state basketball title last month. White Station defeated Raleigh-Egypt 64-61 in overtime. Patino is the adopted son of the late Doug Hines who coached the Maysville Bulldogs in the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons. Patino coached the middle school team at Maysville. He and his wife, the former Hannah Horch, have two children. Here is a link to a story on the championship game in the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
