Cheryl Rutherford on National Champion KCU team

Kentucky Christian University won the National Christian College Athletic Association Division II championship last month. Former St. Patrick player Cheryl Rutherford is a member of the team. Rutherford, a 5-10 sophomore forward, averaged 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds a game for the Lady Knights. KCU defeated Southwestern Christian University 70-62 in the national championship game on March 14. Rutherford scored 10 points in the championship game. It is KCU's 12th national title and the sixth in seven years.
